A model is a person with a role either to promote, display or advertise commercial products (notably fashion clothing in fashion shows) or to serve as a visual aid for people who are creating works of art or to pose for photography.
Why did I say this?
As a Photographer and with the age of Social Media notably Instagram, I find everyone wants to be a model. Do you know what that even means? Just like photographers have to work and polish their craft the subject should do that exact thing also. From posing, hands, and facial expressions this is something that has to be practiced BEFORE you step on set.
Solution
Work with several photographers. Take notes on how they pose you, what language they use. if you find a photographer you like to work with, work with them often but still work with other photographers to push your portfolio in a new direction.
